October
We are thrilled to say that we are now back open 7 days a week. The water temperatures have improved immensely, and although the water levels are not quite where we would like them, the fish are really turning on in terms of feeding and this is showing in the catch returns.
Regular Brick Farm visitor, Simon Kiley is back to his old tricks again and bagging up on his 4 fish ticket - returning to the Lodge with a smile on his face while he has a cup of tea.
We recently hosted a small, bespoke corporate event for a local company. Sam, the organiser gave us the following feedback:
"The whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The day started with a great cooked breakfast, followed by some brilliant coaching by Rob who made fly fishing seem very straightforward and approachable. The day ended in the afternoon with tea and an absolutely wonderful Victoria Sandwich - the slices were absolutely enormous. All staff were very welcoming and I couldn't fault a thing. I would certainly recommend for anyone planning an activity day. The process for organising was very straightforward and could be customised in line with requirements and budget."
Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club attended with 14 anglers on Saturday 11th October. The group always enjoy their days with us and we sent them off after their bacon rolls and days fishing with some additions for their raffle. They raised £160 towards wetwheels charity and everyone had a great day.
The diary is really beginning to fill up with club days and corporate events so if you'd like to arrange a day out for your club, company or even just some friends then get in touch to arrange a bespoke package.
