Brick Farm Lakes is a trout fishery open to the general public all year round, pre-booking is not required. Our new Hide-Out lodge opened in May 2011 and serves delicious home made food and drink in a charming oak frame timber lodge set next to one of the lakes. Brick Farm Lakes is located in open countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) near Herstmonceux in East Sussex. We have two lakes totalling about 4 acres both very well stocked weekly with rainbow and brown trout. We believe we are the leaders in inexpensive smallwater fishing, stocking 15,000 plus trout a year ranging from 1.5lb to 15lb and having a yearly attendance in excess of 5,000 rods (most catch their limits). |

“I just thought I would send a note to say what a good time I had fishing Brick Lake with my 9 year old daughter on Saturday. It was the first time she has been fly fishing and the first time I have fished your venue. Being able to take her on a guardian and junior ticket was great. I cast for her and left her to retrieve. She banked 3 fish in about an hour and a half and not content with landing just the fourth she managed to hook two at once and both were banked, taking us over our four fish ticket and seeing how much she enjoyed it we got another four fish ticket. After 4 hours she had landed 6 fish and I only managed 2, however she is keen to go again and I now have the perfect excuse to be able to go, without getting in trouble indoors! DR” |
