Coaching
Learn to fly fish at Brick Farm Lakes with a qualified instructor and gain all the knowledge needed to head out on your own in as little as only 2 hours!
Your coach will typically teach you about equipment assembly, suitable tackle, safety, overhead and roll cast. Essential knots, fly selection and retrieving & landing fish will also be covered.
Whether you are a complete beginner, want to cast further, iron out some faults or simply brush up your technique if it’s been a while, a coaching session at Brick Farm Lakes will help.
All tackle can be provided for the lesson, or our coaches can go through your own kit with you. We are happy for you to continue using any borrowed equipment for the duration of the day if you decide to fish on after your lesson. You may also need another fish ticket if you caught your limit during your lesson!
Fishing tickets are not included and are to be purchased at Brick Farm Lakes on the day or with pre-purchased vouchers. We will happily offer a 1-fish ticket for the day if you are having a lesson with one of the coaches below.
Please familiarise yourself with our rules before attending your lesson. You will also need an Environment Agency rod licence. Details of these can be found at the Environment Agency website.
